Over two decades ago, I started my career in counseling, working in different facets of the community with adolescents and young adults. My passion is assisting students in fulfilling their personal, social, emotional, and academic goals; this has been my life's pursuit. As a certified school counselor who has worked in both Miami-Dade and Broward County, mainly in the high school setting, my favorite part has been assisting students and their families with the college planning process. In conjunction with my school counseling background, my knowledge and expertise from being a Licensed Mental Health Counselor have been assets that allow me to appraise my students holistically. Over the years, I have had the pleasure of guiding hundreds of students and their families through the college planning process in a school setting. There are no words that could explain the enjoyment of witnessing their triumph as they walk across that stage at graduation with a smile on their face, ready to make their mark on the world with the university that is lucky to have them. 

Now, as I embark on this new journey of meeting with students through my own practice, I get to continue to invest my time in those that I am most passionate about guiding.
